The Swedish Energy Agency's accelerator opens doors to international financing

Seven Swedish growth companies now have the chance to participate in the Swedish Energy Agency's investment accelerator programme. The programme will help them improve their investment readiness and attract international investors.

Financing is crucial for growth companies in an expansionary phase to grow. To make it easier to raise capital and attract investors, it is important to improve investment readiness. The Swedish Energy Agency's investment accelerator supports Swedish companies in reaching out to international investors.

In total, 40 companies applied to participate in this year's programme. After an extensive selection process, seven companies have been chosen. The programme starts on 26 March with a kick-off event, after which work will continue to help companies prepare for the international fundraising process.

–We are pleased that the interest in the investment accelerator remains strong. In a competitive market, proper preparation is crucial to build trust and understanding internationally, says Sara Persson, Business Developer at the Swedish Energy Agency.

Companies admitted to the programme

Companies admitted to the programme have solutions ranging from the use of graphene to make plastics and metals stronger and more sustainable, support for agriculture to reduce its carbon footprint, and improving the production and recycling of materials for solar cells.
