Continued strong interest for investment initiative
The Swedish Energy Agency's Investment Accelerator programme, which helps companies improve their investment readiness, remains popular.
It is time for the second round of the Investment Accelerator programme and interest remains high. A total of 40 companies applied to participate in the new programme.
After an extensive selection process, seven companies have been selected. The programme will start with a kick-off for the companies in mid-April. This will be followed by individual work with each company to prepare them for raising international capital.
Mattias Hansson, co-founder of the company Raymond Solar, which was accepted in the first round in autumn 2023, says:
– Our company participated in the first round of the Investment Accelerator programme. We are now in a process with several of the investors we have connected with through the programme. I am very impressed with the arrangement and can highly recommend other Cleantech companies to apply to participate in the Investment Accelerator.
Growth companies in an expansion phase need financing to grow and develop. Improving investment readiness, creating favourable conditions for meeting investors and access to financing is therefore key. The Investment Accelerator supports Swedish companies in their process of approaching international investors.
Companies admitted in 2024
The companies admitted to the programme have solutions ranging from electric scooters to virtual batteries and fossil-free silicon.
