Collective efforts crucial at UN climate change conference COP27
Meet us at this year's climate change conference (COP 27). The event takes place in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, on 7 - 18 November 2022.
During two weeks in November, world leaders gather in Egypt to review and negotiate the implementation of the Paris Agreement. In parallel to the negotiations, researchers, companies, and organisations from all over the world come together to discuss solutions for climate change and form new collaborations.
Important platform for cooperation
Successful international cooperation is crucial in order to reach our energy and climate policy goals. Therefore, The Swedish Energy Agency strengthens its presence at this year's COP meeting. In addition to being part of the official negotiation team, the Agency will be represented at the Swedish pavilion, along with other governmental agencies and Swedish world-leading companies, NGOs and academia. We are teaming up, sharing a common goal: to accelerate the necessary innovations and collaborations in order to achieve the goals of the Paris agreement. COP 27 is a great platform for promoting Swedish research and innovations, as well as learning from others and forming new collaborations and partnerships.
