Sweden will be strongly represented at the Hannover Fair this year - as partner country. Sweden has a pavilion - Sweden Co-Lab which is run under Team Sweden, under the direction of Business Sweden. Team Sweden is a network of authorities, government offices and companies that all work to promote Swedish exports abroad and foreign investments to Sweden. The Swedish Energy Agency is one of the sponsors to the Sweden Co-Lab pavilion.
The Swedish Energy Agency arranges the Swedish Energy Pavilion and with us we have up to 30 exhibiting companies and event hosts. The Swedish companies show a wide range of innovative energy solutions, such as charging infrastructure, energy storage and batteries, flue gas cleaning with energy recovery, smart meters and much more.
The Energy Pavilion is designed and constructed as a city where the Swedish energy innovations will be integrated to clarify how they contribute with benefit in the energy system - the city as an energy system.
– We need to accelerate the pace of how quickly energy innovations reach the market and begin to benefit. The Hannover Fair is a good springboard for the companies to establish contacts and showcase their solutions. Sweden is really at the forefront, from small startups to major ventures like Hybrit, and if we can deliver sustainable solutions and good business ideas, the world market is huge, says Director General Robert Andrén, The Swedish Energy Agency.
On Monday, April 1, Robert Andrén will participate in a high-level discussion, an Elefantenrunde. Politicians, industry organizations and the business community meet to discuss Energiewende's future, Energy Transition - moving on to the next stage.
Every day between 4 pm - 5 pm there will also be events in the Swedish Energy Pavilion led by various partners: The Association of Swedish Engineering Industries - Teknikföretagen, Garo, Vattenfall and Ericsson.
